Here is a step by step How-To-Video that will help show you how to remove and replace your worn out load wheels.
We have load wheel kits for just about every model pallet jack.
Tools Needed
- 3/16” pin punch
- ⅜” pin punch
- Hammer
- Pliers
Basic Steps to Replace The Pallet Jack Load Wheels
- Turn the jack over
- Remove the wheels
- Install new load wheels
- Install roll pins
Turn The Jack Over
- First, raise the jack completely up.
- Stand to the side and rotate the handle away
- Put one foot on the back of the jack arm, and one on the floor
- Title the jack straight to the ground, and flip over
Remove The Wheels
- Use your 3/16” pin punch and drive out the locking pins of both load wheels
- Next use your ⅜” pin punch to drive out the axle of each load wheel
Install New Load Wheels
- Install the axle
- Place the axle into the bracket just about a half inch
- Install a washer on the inner bracket side of the axle, the half inch side
- Install the wheel
- Hold the wheel in the bracket
- Slide the axle through the wheel hole
- Place the washer on the other side between the wheel and the bracket
- Install roll pins
- Drive the axle all the way through
- Secure the axle while installing the roll pins. Use the 3/16” pin punch to put into one of the holes on the bracket where the roll pin goes
- Install roll pin on the side without the punch in it
- Remove the punch and install the roll pin in that hole
- Repeat on other arm of pallet jack
