How To Replace Corroded Pallet Jack Load Wheel

Are you having trouble removing the axles from your load wheels?

Tools Needed

  • Safety glasses
  • Hammer
  • Pliers
  • 3/16” pin punch
  • ⅜” pin punch
  • Hack saw (with metal cutting black)

When load wheels become badly corroded, the axle actually becomes seized or locked into the load wheel due to the corrosion that exists inside the load wheel on the axle. When this happens, it is necessary to cut the axle on each side of the load wheel to remove it.

Steps: How To Replace Pallet Jack Wheel

  1. Step 1: Drive out roll pins
  2. Step 2: Use hack saw and cut between bearing and bracket to cut out wheel
